Munt Portable is a simple and lightweight synthesizer and emulating tool for pre-GM MIDI devices, such as Roland MT-32.

The program also comes with MIDI player and conversion tool, allowing you to play MID files and convert them to WAV format. Aside this, you can use it to test MIDI drivers.

The application is portable, so it does not require installation and it will not affect your registry.
