Dem Reader is a handy application that allows you to view and manipulate the data from the USGS Digital Elevation Model files. The application is designed to read the DEM files and to generate surface models for cave surveys.

If you do not have the DEM files for a certain area you can enter the elevation data manually. The application can also merge the data from multiple DEM files.
