Total Recorder records streaming audio directly from systems like RealPlayer, iTunes, Windows Media Player and Internet telephony programs (Skype, Google Talk). While recording Internet-telephony conversations, recording of both parties are possible.

As opposed to majority of recording software, Total Recorder records sound from another software in digital format directly without a conversion.
